How to pay your PTPTN using EPF (Account 2)

Recently I had settled off my PTPTN using my EPF Savings (Account 2). And it was simple, easy and fast. Yang lambatnya itu REFUND. Memang mau 4 bulan juga dapat balik. What is REFUND? Hah ini kamu ingatkah Bajet 2017? PTPTN said that they'll gave 15% discount to those yang bayar full or 10% if you all bayar half. Ini dia yang dimaksudkan refund. Hehe

So the stories of paying PTPTN were like this. Panjang but you need to read if you want to understand how's the process. :)

Every month I need to pay RM144 (if I not mistaken). Pakai senang yang bayar ni susah. Haha Sudahlah gaji kecik, macam mana mau bayar konsisten kan? So after 6 months selepas saya habis belajar, dapat kerja, I started to pay my PTPTN dalam lingkungan RM50/100 sebulan tapi memang ni hanya cukup cover bunga dia ja. Then after that, I tidak konsisten bayar PTPTN and pernah stopped almost 2 years tidak bayar. Huhu

Last year, I accidentally heard peoples said that we can pay our PTPTN using EPF. So I googled and read few of bloggers macam mana dorang pay their PTPTN. Memang ada tau! Hehe

The process is very simple :-

1 ~ You need to activate your I-Akaun Code di Kiosk EPF yang terdekat.

Kamu just click Permohonan Baru. Pilih Jenis Pengeluaran - Pendidikan. Di sana kamu kena isi details bayar kepada siapa, bila mula dan tamat pengajian then yang last amount PTPTN yang kamu mau setelkan guna EPF. Kena confirmkan dulu amount PTPTN kamu sebelum membuat pembayaran.
EPF Akaun 2 sahaja iaitu Akaun Pekerja. Majikan tak boleh ok. Hehe So you all kena pastikan Akaun 2 kamu cukup. Kalau tidak cukup pun kamu bayar ikut setakat mampu ja. Ingat diskaun 10% ada juga tau. Tapi kalau EPF tak cukup juga. Bayar tunggakan jelah. Yang lain kena bayar sendiri. Hehe

So masa tu da hujung bulan 2. EPF masih belum membuat pembayaran ke PTPTN. Jadi bunga bulan 3 da kena masa I check Statement PTPTN bulan 3. I kan dah bayar full ikut Statement PTPTN tapi ada bunga naik la pula. So saya just bayar cash bunga dia dalam RM30++ jer. So barulah lepas bayar full.

http://www.ptptn.gov.my/bajet2017/

8 ~ Selepas 4 bulan saya tunggu baru dia nak kembalikan lebihan PTPTN saya. Itupun kena buat aduan baru dorang nak bertindak. So jangan tunggu kena rajin follow up. Pemulangan 1st masuk ke EPF, yg 2nd masuk ke akaun bank saya since last payment I bayar pakai cash. Adalah juga sikit buat topup kuota handphone. Haha

So itu sajalah. Susahnya membayar. Hahaha

To those who are already working but paying PTPTN is hard. You can use this method ya. All the best. :P

Here's the questions :-

2) Ceritakan pengalaman anda semasa praktikal (They asked this because I have 0 experience in QS, so for those who working need to tell your working experience.)

3) Apa yang terdapat dalam Dokumen Tender?

4) Apakah yang dimaksudkan dengan Senarai Kuantiti? Apa yang terdapat di dalam Senarai Kuantiti.

5) Siapakah Pengarah KKR, Timbalan KKR, Ketua Jabatan JKR?

And that's it. Quite challenging isn't it. It takes 20mins to finish. But I hope this information will help to those who will going for the same interview.

Most importantly. Relax and don't be nervous. But it can't help right? Nervous tetap nervous.

Till then, GOOD LUCK and ALL THE BEST. :)

Keanu Reeves

Keanu Reeves writes.. “My friend’s mom has eaten healthy all her life. Never ever consumed alcohol or any “bad” food, exercised every day, very limber, very active, took all supplements suggested by her doctor, never went in the sun without sunscreen and when she did it was for as short a period as possible- so pretty much she protected her health with the utmost that anyone could. She is now 76 and has skin cancer, bone marrow cancer and extreme osteoporosis.

My friend’s father eats bacon on top of bacon, butter on top of butter, fat on top of fat, never and I mean never exercised, was out in the sun burnt to a crisp every summer, he basically took the approach to live life to his fullest and not as others suggest. He is 81 and the doctors says his health is that of a young person.

People you cannot hide from your poison. It’s out there and it will find you so in the words of my friend’s still living mother: ” if I would have known my life would end this way I would have lived it more to the fullest enjoying everything I was told not to!”

None of us are getting out of here alive, so please stop treating yourself like an after thought. Eat the delicious food. Walk in the sunshine. Jump in the ocean. Say the truth that you’re carrying in your heart like hidden treasure. Be silly. Be kind. Be weird. There’s no time for anything else.”

I’m Turning 30 Soon, Still Single & Nowhere Close To Settled In Life. But So What?

It was the eve of my 25th birthday.

Amidst all the revelry of that party, I took a moment to think. A few minutes shy of 25, I decided to rewind and register just how far I'd come in life. More importantly, I decided to take account of how much I'd planned to do in the next 5 years of my life.

All that I wanted to achieve before I turned 30.

Have a certain amount of salary. Travel to certain number of places. Buy a certain car. Save a certain amount. Get a certain home in my name. Marry a certain person.

Be at a certain place both personally and professionally. Basically, be settled.

Now, I'm turning 30. Soon. Very soon.

But I'm nowhere as settled as I thought I'd be. And that's fine. It isn't the end of the world.

We all are encouraged to have a plan for our lives.

Growing up, we have a mind full of dreams and heart full of desires. When school and college end and work takes over, we're supposed to have a set plan in place.

What's your five-year plan? Ten-year plan? Life becomes a race.

A race to beat your colleagues. Friends. Cousins. Every single person on this planet.

You have to start making money. Enough to get married. Enough to take a home loan. Enough to invest in your future.

It's the same pattern for everyone. Except that life is rarely the same for everyone.

It doesn't always turn out the way we wanted, right?

What happens, then? Are we supposed to sit and sulk as failures? Or, get up, face reality and accept that our lives won't be like others?

Just because you didn't end up getting a six-figure salary or a fancy SUV doesn't mean life is over.

Because you're not earning as much as your cousin doesn't make you any less of a success.

Every one has a different path. Every one is meant for a different journey.

And sometimes, someone's journey is a bit longer than the others. It has more roadblocks. It's got a few bumps.

The important thing, however, is to continue moving. And to not look on the side.

And who decides this set-pattern for everyone, anyway?

Why is there an age cap for settling down? Is turning 30 also the end of one's dreams and aspirations?

Or, the end of all the opportunities one can get?

We've all been conditioned to believe that it's not just important to be successful but successful as fast as we can. But success doesn't always come as planned, right?

And, it's still success even if it comes after a certain age!

I may not be doing as well as I'd like to but that doesn't mean that I won't either on the other side of 30. Just because I'm currently single, it doesn't mean that I won't find anyone after 30.

I mean, I'm just turning 30. It's just an age. A number. Not my death warrant!

Honestly, how many of us really have it all by 30?

To begin with, in the current work scenario, you're never particularly successful till your mid-30s anyway. By the time you turn 30, you've just about figured out a solid path for your career. There's still a while, still few years of hard work for you to reach where you want to.

As for love and relationships, yes, some people are married by this time. Some even have kids. But there are enough and more who aren't. They choose to wait it out for a few more years before settling for holy matrimony.

No matter what you choose, there isn't a right or wrong. It's just how it is.

You're life shouldn't come crashing down just because your journey hasn't been as conventional as society would like it to be.

Life is a journey and not a destination.

You'll always be moving. Heading somewhere. Some journeys are long and some are short. What's important is to enjoy it. Make the most of it. And not sit and analyse it.

You may not be where you thought you'd be. But you are somewhere.

And that is a pretty fabulous place to be too!
